We begin our week of releases with the new project Zassou-tachi yo Taishi o Idake (“Weeds! Be Ambitious”), a quiet, realistic view of what high school is like for a group of (geeky) girls. The socially awkward ones, the unpopular ones, the ones who aren’t pretty–life might not be all that bad, but it falls fall short of the glamorous days the popular kids have. But that’s just fine, because it’s at that very point in your life when you start to really grow and reach for your dreams.
