Bites
We have the completion of Hana Bolo today! This is a slice of life seinen manga made up of interconnected vignettes that was started forever ago by Kotonoha. I’d originally wanted to mass release this as a birthday gift, but we didn’t quite make it (…by a few months). I’ve been a fan of Iwaoka Hisae since I worked on Yume no Soko (which I actually recommend over this one), and I’ve had my eye on her longer work Hoshigahara for a while now… but long works are tough for me to get to, so I decided to finish up Hana Bolo to get my fix. HB is more silly/random than I usually go for, but it still has those emotive scenes I love 🙂 Huggles to Ximena & ayase (and a little tim!) for getting this edited. Hope you enjoy! My favorites were c6 and c9-10 =D

Note that another group recently released c03-04. That group used my translations without permission and passed it off as a “Kotonoha joint”. (Kotonoha is still quite closed.) I recommend reading our version for continuity.
…another failure on UD -.-; At this point, we’ll get the series out when we can. And next time, we’ll pick an easier series 🙂

Ah, I just meant rather than promising release dates, we’ll play it by ear. This series is rough, so any little IRL thing trips us up. But no, no chance of us dropping things.
I’ve spent the better part of the last 5 years systemically finishing series abandoned after my old group closed (over 20 vols worth, at this point). I’m categorically against dropping projects. Unless I’m forced to quit scanlating for some extreme reason, you’ll never see a dropped project at LSD. …unless something gets licensed or another group hijacks it 😉
