And finally… Pen to Chocolate. This series was highly recommended by my editor pals tim and Minelauva, and was meant to be our first project… but real life intervened to derail it. Ximena hopped on board to get it back on track, and here we are 🙂 Huge huggles also go out to Ayase for helping with the series <3

This is also our first simply lovely series. It’s light-hearted and humorous — a slice-of-life story about a struggling manga artist with a (very) slow romance thrown in. I’m not a romance fan myself, but low-key romance stories like these are refreshing. And lest I forget, the art is simply beautiful. This series is akin to sipping a cool lemonade on a hot summer’s day… pleasant and relaxing.

I expect we’ll have a smattering of oneshots (including some by Ichikawa Haruko) as we release Pen to Chocolate, and then we’ll start releasing Ultrabaroque Deprogrammer as we get closer to finishing this series. Till then!
